Once you start on the path to becoming more green, you realize how much it alters your outlook on everything. You begin to think to yourself, “What can I do to make this act more green?” As a woman, I quickly had that flow over into my beauty regimen. I have been using alternatives to store bought items for a couple of years now, most of which can be found in almost any kitchen.
So many products today are claiming they will make us thinner, prettier, have less wrinkles, remove belly fat, attract the opposite sex, make our smiles whiter, our hair softer, longer, fuller, have more volume, and be more time and cost efficient than anything we would dream of thinking up on our own. What is phenomenal about natural beauty products is that most of them work better than anything you can find with a brightly colored label utilizing fear tactics to buy them. Additionally, making or using your own natural products will save you a ton of money.
I will have an ongoing series on green beauty tips and tricks.
